offered in the Mosques and after the prayer sacrificial duties have done. Qurbani can only be performed
during the three days of Eid, namely the 10th, Ilth and 12th of Zulhijjah. No Qurbani can be performed in
any other days of the year. There is an important one thing the sacrifice must be held after Eid prayer it
not be done before prayer.
The Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said:
Found In: Sahih Bukhari Chapter No: 15, The Two Festivals (Eids)
Hadith no:93 The Prophet went towards Al-Baqi (the grave-yard at Medina) on the day of Eid-ul-Adha and offered a two-Rakat prayer (of Eid-ul-Adha) and then faced us and said, “On this day of ours, our first act of worship is the offering of prayer and then we will return and slaughter the sacrifice, and whoever does this concords with our Sunna; and whoever slaughtered his sacrifice before that (i.e. before the prayer) then that was a thing which he prepared earlier for his family and it would not be considered as a Nusuk (sacrifice.)” A man stood up and said, “O, Allah’s Apostle! I slaughtered (the animal before the prayer) but I have a young she-goat which is better than an older sheep.” The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said to him, “Slaughter it. But a similar sacrifice will not be sufficient for anybody else after you”.
The meat from the sacrifice must be distributed to the poor and needy people and also can
be donated needy person like flood effective people and IDP’s.
This sacrifice raised passion to help and care for the others whose are poor and needy.
Allah give all Muslims more strength to help the others. Ameen
Through this beautiful occasion we meet altogether and distribute meat our relatives,
neighbors, family, friends and poor.In this event we give presents each other and celebrate
parties with family and friends and making delicious food.
Allah is a most merciful their creature. through this event He checked our faith, that how the people
whose are able to give or participate in Eid-ul-Adha sacrifice, can will they divide and distribute
partially in every one . Although the person who offering a Qurbani can keep all its meat for his own use,
yet, it is preferable to distribute one-third among the poor, another one-third among his relatives and
then, keep the rest for his personal consumption because Allah has no need of any flesh, any blood but
he knows the intention of every person if that is pure then near to Allah S.W is acceptable.
In the Holy Quran;
It is not their flesh nor their blood that reaches Allah; it is your piety that reaches Him. Al-Quran: 22:37
There are thousands of poor & deprived families in Pakistan who do not perform Qurbani on
Eid-ul-Adha. So we should distributes meat of Qurbani among these families.
